Loh Dalum Bay is located on the north coast of Tonsai Bay and the east coast side of Koh Phi Phi Don. It has a sandy beach about 1 kilometer long, curved in style, and surrounded by mountains on both sides. With plenty of water activities and accommodations, Loh Dalum Bay is one of the most popular beaches for tourists on Koh Phi Phi Don.
Loh Dalum beach is comfortable and clean, and the sand is white. This beachside is very suitable for jogging in the morning because the seawater recedes when the sun rises. Whereas in the afternoon, many tourists swim and soak on Loh Dalum beach because the tide is rising.
What is unique about the beach at Loh Dalum Bay is that, although it has beautiful white sand, the seabed is covered with corals. Therefore, you have to be careful and use proper footwear (special beach shoes). Loh Dalum Beach is surrounded by rocky hills, making the location here quite shady during the daytime. So don’t expect a lot of sunburns here!
