Bali best beaches

When in doubt, choose Bali. This island has never failed to capture the hearts of millions that visit, leaving an unforgettable lifetime experience. Being heavily praised for its wildlife, forested volcanic mountains, temples, cultural heritage, Bali tops it all again with enthralling beaches. We classify Bali’s best beaches based on four characteristics, 1) Bali quiet beach, 2) Bali snorkeling beach, 3) Bali surfing beach, and 4) Bali’s most beautiful beach. The pale white sand, seductive palm trees, and clear blue water will always be perfect – from sunbathing to water sports, Bali is all about its beach life.

Bali quiet beach

Nyang Nyang Beach is a hidden gem located in Uluwatu secluded by cliffs. Everybody loves the tranquillity of mother nature, adding Nyang Nyang to Bali’s quietest beaches. The soothing environment, filled with green grass, limestone cliffs, glistering white sand, and turquoise water, is medicine to both the mind and body. During low tide, beachcombers can see seaweed growing among the rocks, sand bubbler crab, and beautiful seashells. Surfing is also another option for vacationers as the hidden beach Nyang Nyang makes it even more thrilling. Finally, Nyang Nyang beach offers a stunning view of the open sea that connects the beach to the Indian Ocean, offering a romantic moment that is perfect for couples and honeymooners.

Bali snorkeling beach

Pantai Perasi Karangasem, or better known as White Sand Beach, is a secluded beach located east of Bali, which is far from the capital city Denpasar down south. Regarded as Bali’s best snorkeling beach, Perasi Karangasem sits between two scenic hills, Appen and Penggiang. Surrounding crystal clear water and ridiculously soft sands will entice you to play. The calmness of swimming and snorkeling off the White Sand Beach is sensational. The aquatic wonderland awaits in approximately 5-15 meters from the shoreline, ranging from colorful coral reefs, exotic fish, and rare turtles. We also recommend that you try out sailing at White Sand Beach! The panoramic views are so Instagram-friendly here! One last tip, this beach is often called a Virgin Beach due to its reputation of being in pristine condition.

Bali surfing beach

Balangan Beach is renowned as a surfing capital of Bali. We mostly recommend surfing for intermediate-to-experience levels as the wave type is a fast-breaking left reef break. There’s also more to Balangan Beach than just surfing. It promises one of the best picturesque views as you climb up the limestone cliffs. A panoramic view of the pristine white sands and surf-breaks goes over a kilometer, and it is a magical shot.

One of Bali’s secluded beaches, Medewi Beach also promises an excellent surf. Despite being a bit difficult to access, most swear by the surfing destination is worth visiting. The great and long swell wave makes for great surfing where the best season is during the dry season as the wind flows from the east to the west, creating a big wave for splendid surfing. For non-surfers, Medewi Beach is both beautiful and authentic, tempting travelers to experience a laid-back Balinese lifestyle in this less-developed part of Bali island.

Bali most beautiful beach

We choose Geger beach (Nusa Dua beach) as the most beautiful beach in Bali! The setting is very peaceful and is a family-friendly place that includes a variety of outdoor water activities. You can swim, snorkel, paddle surf, rent a catamaran, and even go fishing! Not to forget, the powder-white sand of Geger beach is loved by many. Especially for romantic ones, this beautiful beach offers a stunning panorama that stretches out along the coastline. Accommodating that is the refreshing sea breeze and warmth of the sun while you walk along the beach. If you are looking to add in an even special memory to your travel plan, at Geger beach, you can ride camels accommodated with a guide.

Blue Point Beach, or also called Suluban Beach, is another uniquely beautiful beach in Bali. Covered with a series of limestone cliffs, ridiculously soft white sand, and big waves, this place is a favorite among locals and foreigners. When you reach this beach, you will notice large coral caves filled with exotic washed-up corals, unlike other beaches in Bali. Prepare for Instagram shots as the coral cave, filled with corals and with a ray of sunlight, makes it aesthetic! The turquoise water at Blue Point Beach is very inviting. You can swim, snorkel, surf, or even chase crabs! They’re probably hiding between the seaweeds, but you can see all of this under the crystal clear water Blue Point Beach has to offer.
