Swing gently on one of the hammocks strung between palm trees or stop here for lunch between island hopping. Less crowded than nearby Gili Nanggu, during low season, you could be alone here and have a private island all to yourself. It’s known by the locals as “snack island” as most tourists seem to stay to eat something but then move straight on! Versatility and quick, easy travel between these small, South Gilis, is their upside. And with no roads, shops, temples, or tall buildings and offices (only the odd cow and pure nature), you’ll feel like an intrepid explorer. Probably the best activity you can do is renting a kayak and paddling around the surrounding islands.
