Misool is the second largest island in Raja Ampat, surrounded by enormous limestone rocks that emerge from the water to dominate the horizon. Lagoons and cave paintings, jellyfish lake, a pristine underwater wonderland for divers and snorkelers alike, Misool is also abundant on the outside. More indigenous than other Four Kings, Misool is home to ancient cultural sites. Nutrient-rich waters around Misool have spawned (quite literally) a marine Eden. As if it couldn’t get any better, you don’t have to be a diver to have the best time in Raja Ampat. It’s not widely realized that Raja Ampat’s terrestrial biodiversity is every bit as rich as that of its more famous marine environment. Raja Ampat’s landscape is truly breathtaking. Untouched smaller isles with hills covered in orchids, rugged limestone cliffs rising from crystal waters, and hidden bays more magnificent than you could imagine.
