Gili Nanggu is the most famous of the South Gilis due to its picturesque beaches and surrounding coral reefs. This private island is surrounded by diverse and colorful coral reefs, which makes it an attractive snorkeling destination. Near the marine culture, the complex is a small dirt road leading out onto a white peninsular of sand that juts into beautiful clear waters. Unforgettable views will greet you here, with a close up look at neighboring Gili Genting, which is so remote and secluded, which will give you a feeling you’re wandering around your island. The waters surrounding this tiny island are transparent and shallow, and when you combine it with vibrant and healthy coral reefs, you get a perfect snorkeling spot. Since Nanggu is very popular, snorkeling isn’t suitable during high tides when it is the peak for tourist boats to arrive. Head over to the northern beach, which is connected with a narrow road. The beach is usually secluded, and there are not any tourist facilities around. Just you, pleasant breeze, turquoise, and shallow waters, white powder beach, and colorful reefs. You can snorkel just off the beach as the coral reefs stretch for about 50 m offering you a stunning overview of underwater life and diversity.
